The Dalia Association is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. We strive to keep your information secure, managing it in accordance with our legal responsibilities under the privacy and data protection laws where we operate. This Privacy Policy explains how the personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, is processed. 

  1. Information that we may collect from you

We may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Your name, home/work address, and email address, as part of our mailing list.
  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our website. This includes information you provide when subscribing to our E-Bulletin or when applying to serve as a volunteer with us. The information you provide to us may include your name, organization, job title, postal address, e-mail address, phone number, and other information relating to your organization and work.
  • If you contact us to enquire about a grant, or for other general information requests, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • When you use our website, as is the case with most websites, certain limited information (such as your browser type and IP address) will be collected by us automatically. We also track which parts of our website you visit and whether you shared those links on further (either via social media or email), as well as the resources that you access. 

By submitting your personal data, you agree to its transfer, storing and processing. We will take all steps necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site - so any transmission is at your own risk. If you sign-up to our email newsletter, we store the personal data that you supply us on a secure remote server.

If you are located outside Palestine and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including personal data, to Canada and process it there.

Dalia Association will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy and no transfer of your personal data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

We may disclose your information to third parties if we are working with them to deliver a product or service you have requested, or on your behalf. Otherwise, the Dalia Association commits to never passing your information onto another organization or agency.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. Additionally, you can also unsubscribe from receiving certain electronic messages by following the “unsubscribe” instructions included in our communications.
